She went to Prairie Creek Elementary and was admitted to the School of American Ballet in New York City when she was 11. Ashlee worked as one of her older sister’s (Jessica Simpson) back-up dancers. She got her big break with her first album, which included the hit songs “La La”, “Shadow” and “Pieces Of Me”. She filed for divorce from bassist Pete Wentz in 2011; they have a son named Bronx who was born on November 20th, 2008.
