Ashanti Douglas Sexy Wallpaper Ashanti Douglas was born in Glen Cove, New York, USA on October 13th, 1980. She went to Bernice Johnson Cultural Arts Center and studied many types of dance. In her early teens, her mother began sending out demo tapes to display her singing and dancing abilities. Ashanti turned down a track scholarship to Hampton University to pursue singing. Her big break came through her debut album. Her hit songs “Foolish”, “What’s Luv?” and “Always On Time” were on the Billboard Hot 100 charts during the same week. Ashanti was the first female to accomplish this.
